Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 Super Bowl Trailer Description Divides All Marvel Fans


Ever since Ryan Reynolds made the announcement of Hugh Jackman returning to play the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3, the internet exploded with excitement. The film has been stuck in everyone’s mind, and millions of questions arose, as fans wondered how Wolverine would return, as he died in Logan, or what will be the plot of the upcoming film.

The hype for the film is at an all-time high, as the film is set to release later this year. However, the trailer for Deadpool 3, which is set to be released during the Super Bowl final, has divided the MCU fans as they believe that the description features major spoilers that will ruin the excitement for the upcoming sequel.

Having Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in Deadpool 3 is as exciting as it gets, as it opens the possibility of having a plethora of storylines. Moreover, the presence of Wolverine would showcase the bitter-sweet relationship between the two and the hilarious rivalry between them, similar to what fans have seen in the comics.

The fans had been excitedly waiting for the film until it all vanished as the trailer of the sequel which is set to be released during the Super Bowl final which is on 11th February 2024, showcasing major spoilers from the film and fans are furious over it.

As per Chippu, the trailer would feature “Deadpool, who is going through a midlife crisis and has left the life of heroes behind. He now sells cars to support himself.” The trailer would also feature Wolverine who would strike Deadpool with his claws, in return, “receives Logan with nicknames making fun of his hair.” The entire fandom came together as they bombed X with negative opinions.

While fans are furious over Deadpool 3’s trailer description featuring major spoilers from the upcoming film, many believe that Ryan Reynolds is infamous for providing misleading trailer descriptions before their actual release. Hopefully, this should be the case as the sequel has immense expectations from the fans, and they would not expect anything below perfection.

Ryan Reynolds Is As Excited As Fans For the Return of Wolverine in Deadpool 3

During an exclusive interview with Forbes, the Red Notice actor shared that he is as hyped as the fans to witness Hugh Jackman’s comeback as Wolverine in the sequel. It was evident that Reynolds was excited to share the screen with Jackman as Wolverine and Deadpool would finally be seen together on the big screen.

“I couldn’t be more excited. I mean, especially to do it this way. Ultimately, I get to work with some of my closest friends in the world, and that doesn’t happen every day working in this business.”

He added,

“I feel the same way that the fans do, though. I feel as excited that this character is coming back for another ride, particularly in this context. I think it’s something that people have wanted for a long time, to get this pairing up on the big screen, and that’s what we aim to do.”

Nevertheless, fans hope that the trailer description is just another mischievous action of Reynolds to mislead the scoopers from spoiling the excitement of the spoiler, and the trailer would only add to the excitement of the fans. Fingers crossed!

Deadpool 3 is set to release in theatres on 26 July 2024.
